C & O Canal Ride

Where: Large parking on on S Maple Ave, Brunswick, MD: 100 S Maple Ave, Brunswick, MD 21716. Element Sports vehicle will be easy to find: 
What: Join Element Adventures for a leisurely ride on the C & O Canal Towpath. We will meet at the parking lot on S Maple Ave in Brunswick, Maryland and ride to Harpers Ferry. There we will walk across the bridge and get ice cream at one of the local shops before returning to Brunswick. The ride is about 6 miles each way and basically flat. Bring the whole family! This is a free event (except for ice cream).
What you’ll need: A bike capable of riding on crushed limestone path (hybrid, mountain, or cross bike. Road bikes are a little tough to ride on it, but not impossible). Water bottle or hydration pack. Money for ice cream / snack.
Time: meet at 2 pm. We should be back to the cars by 5.
